Description

  • The qualified individual will lead the transition of the FR 2052a reporting process for Category 3 readiness by working with the FR 2052a reporting team and the Liquidity Team within Treasury. The FR 2052a report is a key regulatory report focusing on liquidity, thus strong leadership skills and change management skills are desired given the complexities of the overall process.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of analysts to build enhancements and efficiencies to the FR 2052a reporting process which include s , but is not limited to, training, career development, establishing documentation, establishing controls and managing the workflow of complex processes.
  • Ensures changes to the process are considered in conjunction with the existing FR 2052a monthly reporting filed with the FRB. This includes well documented process maps and reconciliations, co nsideration of controls, and enhancements to the governance process . Ensures all changes compl y with the FR 2052a regulatory requirements.

  • R eviews existing processes and seek opportunities to streamline workflows while ensuring the control and reconciliation environment is well documented.

  • Lead related regulatory projects of varying complexities, often involving various teams across the organization and with third party vendors, as required.

  • Regularly organize and lead meetings with Treasury, Risk Management, Internal Audit, IT, Regulators, and other key stakeholders

  • Support and further strengthen sustainable regulatory liquidity reporting programs.

  • Participate in transaction testing and issue remediation to support and improve data accuracy.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Liquidity and/or regulatory reporting experience with strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Treasury, and balance sheet management . This includes FR 2052a re

  • Regulatory reporting and LCR / NSFR calculations

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • In depth knowledge of regulatory rules, including FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and Enhanced Prudential Standards/Reg YY
  • Master's Degree is Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.

  • Advanced experience with database structures, modeling techniques, data management, and the ability to execute complex SQL queries.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adenza (formerly AxiomSL)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in a clear and organized manner.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal teams as well as third party vendors.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity as well as providing effective challenge as required.

  • Highly motivated and proactive
