Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator performs support duties to the Talent Acquisition Recruiter(s) and Hiring Managers during the selection process. Provides outstanding customer service at all times to ensure that all candidates have a positive experience when applying at Huntington. Work with Hiring Manager and their teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • MS Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel, Access and Applicant Tracking Systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sets high standards of performance; assuming responsibility and accountability for successful completing assignments or tasks well within the provided SLA's

  • Lead the pre-employment process by running background checks, monitoring drug screens, and acting as a liaison between candidates, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter(s), and hiring manager

  • Communicate interview details to candidate by providing detailed directions, interview logistics, travel arrangements such as flight info, hotel reservations, and transportation accommodations

  • Create and prepare offer letters

  • Produce and activate job postings internal and external

  • Submit travel expenses for candidates for reimbursement

  • Subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition Coordinator process

  • Escort candidates upon arrival to interview destination

  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Attend scoping sessions to provide support to the recruitment process and answer questions relating to the Talent Acquisition process

  • Ability to pre-screen candidates and disposition if they do not meet minimum qualifications

  • Build relationships with admins, benefits, compensation and other areas of the business

  • Aptitude to make decision with little or no guidance while keeping risk to the company low but providing the ultimate customer experience

  • Provides best practices and process improvements throughout the talent acquisition cycle

  • Has the ability to work in dynamic and constantly changing work environment

  • Quickly analyze and interpret requests and data to provide a prompt turnaround in accomplished work

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and judgment

  • Experience creating presentations and correspondence from concepts

  • Strong initiative, highly adaptive, with ability to work independently while efficiently managing multiple tasks and comfortable juggling tasks from the mundane to the strategic

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient advanced Microsoft Office suite skills is required. Microsoft SharePoint is preferred

  • Must be able to function efficiently under pressure and prioritize workloads while working with deadlines

  • Comfortable handling confidential information

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resource experience in a corporate, staffing or thrid party recruiting firm

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of an addtional four years of experience, totalling five years overall in lieu of degree
