Huntington National Bank Commercial Bank - Segment Risk Business Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Summary:

The Commercial Bank Segment Risk Business Manager reports to the Segment Risk Program Manager and will have responsibility for leveraging data to create and maintain reporting to help drive business decisions and execute findings management, control effectiveness and business readiness. This person will collaborate across Segment Risk to effectively drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Risk program management in planning, operational assessments, business process mapping and overall program management activities.

  • Research, compile, analyze, visualize, and report data trends for Commercial Segment Risk Management organization.

  • Assist in meeting coordination, conference calls and tracking of project activities.

  • Create business reporting to provide insights into key data points to help drive execution and business results, allowing for process optimization and efficiency.

  • Develop high quality templates, frameworks, and reports.

  • Assist in standardizing project plans and schedules to track execution of Risk activities.

  • Strong understanding in best practice data visualization concepts with demonstrated ability to select and implement most impactful visualizations of data to convey business results in written and verbal communication to management.

  • Collaborate across organization with key business partners to prepare executive level reporting for business reviews and other ad hoc requests.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business management or analyst positions

  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree 4 additional years of in business management or analyst positions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including senior management.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, writing and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience communicating with business partners and senior management.

  • Large Bank transformational, Issues Management, or regulatory experience

  • Excellent influencing, consulting, and analytical skills.

  • Strong data management skills

  • Data visualization skills

  • Understanding of Risk Management principles
