Huntington National Bank Information Security Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

Brief Description:

The Information Security Engineer will provide operational support for Huntington's Enterprise eDiscovery, forensics, and insider threat detection tools. The role works closely with members of the Computer Forensics Investigations team and Corporate Security to maintain, upgrade, and support tools used to conduct forensics analysis, process digital evidence in support of litigation, and detect insider threats. The role will also work with End User Computing and other infrastructure teams as needed, in support of deploying and maintaining agents on end points and servers.

Detailed Description:

  • Provide operational support for Huntington's Enterprise eDiscovery and forensics solutions

  • Provide operational support for Huntington's User Activity Monitoring tool

  • Assists with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems

  • Maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as required

  • Maintains and updates Runbooks and other support documents as appropriate

  • Works with vendors to understand product roadmaps and plan for upgrades

  • Makes corrective actions when necessary following change control guidelines and polices

  • Create all required technical documentation in accordance with Huntington's Change Control and project management processes and procedures

  • Provide after hours on-call support on a recurring basis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in a System Administrator/ Network Administrator / Engineering role

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting/maintaining Enterprise eDiscovery/Forensics tools and/or Insider Threat monitoring tools

  • Hands on experience implementing or operating Security Tools (SEIM, DLP, IPS, Anti Malware, Firewalls)

  • Experience documenting and maintaining procedures/runbooks

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Guidance/OpenText Enterprise EnCase solution, Access Data Forensics Took Kit, or similar solutions in an enterprise-wide deployment a plus

  • Experience with Forcepoint Insider Threat product and Red Owl UEBA analysis tool a plus

  • Experience with Python, Java or PowerShell

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to develop strong partnerships

  • Ability to work flexible hours
