Huntington National Bank Administrative Support Specialist - RV/Marine Finance in Columbus, Ohio

Description

This position will be located at our Gateway office (Columbus, Ohio) or Rosemont office (Chicago, Illinois).

Our RV/Marine Finance Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for the day to day activities and interaction between the Dealer client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship.

  • Maintains an effective rapport with Dealers and Huntington personnel.

  • Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and disbursing funds as appropriate.

  • Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts. Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer. Advises and counsels Dealers on bank products and services.

  • Assists the sales function or an officer by processing and maintaining accurate and complete documentation.

  • May attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.

  • Maintains documentation within RV/Marine internal SharePoint site

  • Responsible for onboarding new dealerships

  • Responsible for providing dealer customer service

  • Responsible for creating and distributing reports as it relates to dealer reporting

  • Compiles information from a variety of sources to prepare various reports.

  • Communicates information by composing memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies and others.

  • Maintains up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services, departmental systems and related technology, policies and procedures.

  • Duties also include typing, answering telephones and filing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1 year direct experience in both administrative support & customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up

  • Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor

  • Ability to build and expand quality internal and external customer relationships

  • Ability to multi-task

  • PC and internet proficiency

  • Displays a high level of energy and goal orientation and demonstrates a passion for providing outstanding customer service

  • Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.

    Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
