Huntington National Bank Director Debt Capital Markets in Chicago, Illinois
Develops and delivers presentations to large corporate clients on topics including alternative funding strategies, liability management, and execution tactics.
Oversees and assists in the execution of debt offerings managed by HCM.
Ensures HCM managed debt transactions are accompanied by proper due diligence and complete documentation.
Identifies and responds to opportunities or developments in the public debt capital markets.
Monitor market developments for peer offerings and new structures.
Develop improved strategies for data collection covering market trends, industry developments and economic developments.
Establishes and maintains relationships with product partners within Huntington to ensure an effective referral program in an effort to drive cross selling opportunities.
Maintains an updated qualified prospect list and pipeline through communication with Huntington Institutional Banking colleagues.
Proactively works to close opportunities and will make recommendations on appropriate capital structure while effectively articulating the bank recommendation to clients and prospective clients.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in statistics, economics or finance
7+ years of experience in Debt Capital Markets origination or other capital raising / advisory roles
Series 79 & 63 required or to be secured within 6 months of start date
Proficient in MS office
Strong management and mentoring skills
Ability to resolve issues and drive performance
